Role Description
We seek an highly motivated immunologist to work with members of the Immunoregulation Group within the Immunology and Autoimmunity Research Unit. The primary focus of the position will be to participate in the identification, evaluation and development of the next generation of novel therapies for autoimmune disease. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of immunological mechanisms, with a focus on adaptive immunity, in health and disease.

•Design, conduct, and coordinate studies using in vivo mouse models
•Design and conduct studies of immune cell activation and signaling
•Mentoring junior level research associates
•Interface with external collaborators
•Responsible for data analysis and communication of results, both internally and externally, in a team-centric environment
•Participation on project teams with the goal of progressing the pre-clinical pipeline
•Interaction and coordination of research with internal colleagues and partner lines

•PhD in Immunology or closely related field
•2+ years post-doctoral experience
•Industry experience desirable
•Proven record of multiple publications in top-tier, peer-reviewed journals
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work effectively on teams required
•Required expertise in using mouse models to investigate the adaptive immune system
•Required expertise in FACS, ELISA, QRTPCR, western blot analysis, in vitro cell-line based assays
•Preferred experience with histological analysis of tissues
•Preferred experience analyzing bioinformatic datasets including mRNA microarray and/or DNA/RNA-Seq
•Preferred basic molecular biologyand biochemistry techniques, including cloning, IP, and ChIP techniques
•Preferred experience in basic imaging techniques, including confocal, TIRFM or 2-photon microscopy
