A successful candidate will have bioinformatics experience in analyzing bulk and (strongly preferably) also single cell RNA-Seq. They need to be comfortable in R, bash command line, bash scripting, working on cluster systems, and learning new software packages. They need experience in statistical analysis of high throughput sequencing data and how to visualize and communicate results from it. Since they will be working on the R Shiny apps first, it is important they have some experience in building shiny apps. Database experience and web design experience are pluses.
