Dear rna-seqblog community,
we are excited to share with you that our article “A Detailed Catalogue of Multi-Omics Methodologies for Identification of Putative Biomarkers and Causal Molecular Networks in Translational Cancer Research” has been published in IJMS as part of the Special Issue Systems Bioinformatics: How Networks and Systems Biology Boost Precision/Personalized Medicine and is available online as an early access version:
Abstract: https://www.mdpi.com/1422-0067/22/6/2822

At a glance, our review aspires to cover a detailed catalogue of computational methodologies for the integration of heterogeneous multi-omics cancer data layers, advancing translational cancer research based on different research aims. Additionally, we provide two comprehensive examples that could serve as start-to-end workflows, on how to apply two common research scenarios, utilizing raw genomics data from public cancer data repositories and published studies, for the identification of putative biomarkers and causal molecular networks in distinct cancer entities.
With Kind Regards,
