BigOmics Analytics has launched the web-based version of the Omics Playground, an extremely user-friendly platform that allows non-coders to analyse RNA-Seq, scRNA-seq, microarray and proteomics data types. Through it users can perform basic analysis, including sample clustering, pairwise comparisons, sample intersection analysis and quality checking, as well as having access to more advanced features, such as enrichment analysis, cell type profiling, biomarker discovery, ligand-receptor interactions visualization and drug connectivity analysis. Users can choose from different statistical methods and combine them to increase reliability. The platform offers access to more than 50,000 public datasets for comparative analysis and is constantly updated to reflect the latest trends in functional genomics and proteomics data analysis.
An overview of the Omics Playground. The platform consists of data cleaning and preprocessing and a user interface. Data preprocessing is handled offline to enable real-time visualization and interaction on the interface.
Availability – Omics Playground is publicly accessible at https://public.bigomics.ch/ and as a docker file at https://github.com/bigomics/omicsplayground
