Job Title: | Process Development Scientist Intern | |

As a Process Development Scientist Intern, you will explore the use of external RNA controls in gene expression microarray and RNA-seq experiments, as well as the application of such controls to the monitoring of microarray quality. Good communication skills are essential, since the project will involve communication of the results to both internal technical audiences and Agilent microarray marketing. |

Qualifications: | Bachelors Degree or University Degree or equivalent.The position requires a working knowledge of the basics of gene expression profiling using microarrays and RNA-seq, familiarity with the “R” statistical analysis language and some experience with the Bioconductor “R” package for analysis of gene expression data. In addition, an Agilent intern must be enrolled as a student in a program aimed at earning a degree in a relevant field of Biology or Bioinformatics (post-graduate students preferred).
